Our group approach is built upon Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Training. We offer an array of groups that focus upon specific challenges. In these groups, members learn skills to regulate their emotions & cope with life stressors while supporting one another.

Adolescent DBT Group: ages 14-18
Young Adult DBT Group: ages 18-26
Adult DBT Group: ages 25 and up
Weekly DBT Groups
Prime Therapy offers outpatient DBT groups for various ages and populations. Each DBT group is a place for individuals to interact with peers as they learn how to connect the core concepts of DBT to their own goals, priorities, and values.

We teach various skills from the 4 DBT modules of Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, Mindfulness, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. As part of these modules, we focus on walking the middle path, increasing self-awareness, and guiding each group member's emotion regulation process.
The Prime Therapy DBT Training Binder
Each group member will receive a skills training binder filled with informational guides & worksheets to keep & bring to each group session. Each DBT Group practices skills at different levels & in different ways based on their age to best match where they are in their life journey.
