Therapy is beneficial, regardless of any specific mental health need. Seeking therapy is not limited to any particular age group; people of all ages find support through therapy when navigating life's challenges.
Many individuals turn to therapy to address a variety of concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, substance abuse, and other situations that may cause harm or distress. Therapy provides a supportive environment to manage these challenges and to learn strategies for leading a healthier, more balanced life.
Our therapists are dedicated to understanding the unique challenges each person faces. Through open conversations, they help clients explore their paths toward self-reflection and emotional regulation while identifying what is truly important to them. This process empowers individuals to find fulfillment across the diverse aspects of their lives.
At Prime, we work closely with every client to develop and recommend a personalized treatment plan. Our collaborative approach is designed to yield meaningful results, guiding you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.
The initial evaluation is a critical step in your therapeutic journey, designed to ensure that you are matched with the right therapist and that the most suitable therapeutic process is chosen for you. This alignment is essential for helping you achieve your specific goals for therapy.
This comprehensive evaluation is conducted during a 90-minute session. During this time, you and your therapist will have the opportunity to introduce yourselves, fostering a comfortable environment for open communication.
Throughout the session, you will discuss your current mental health needs with the therapist. Your therapist will gently guide the conversation, asking questions to gain a deeper understanding of your life history, experiences, and personal goals for therapy.
Based on the information gathered during your conversation, your therapist will recommend an appropriate treatment plan tailored to best support your healing process and overall well-being.
Individual sessions typically last between 50 and 90 minutes. The most common duration is 50 minutes, which serves as the standard session length.
In certain circumstances, a 30-minute add-on may be available. This additional time is offered based on specific needs and conditions, allowing for greater flexibility in session length.
Yes. We provide both in-person and telehealth appointments to accommodate your needs. Whether you prefer to visit our office or connect remotely, we strive to make therapy accessible and convenient.
All group therapy sessions are held exclusively in-person at our office in Bedminster, NJ. This ensures a supportive environment where participants can engage directly with each other and our facilitators.
We are also pleased to offer telehealth sessions. This remote option allows you to receive specialized treatment from the comfort of your own home.
If you are unsure which therapy format is right for you, please reach out to us. We are happy to discuss your situation and help you decide whether in-person or telehealth sessions would best meet your needs.
Determining the appropriate duration of treatment can be challenging, as it is influenced by a range of individual circumstances. The severity of symptoms, the amount of time a person is able to dedicate to treatment, the degree of family accommodation of symptoms, and external factors such as life events and other stressors all play significant roles in shaping the course of treatment.
Generally, a realistic expectation for the length of treatment is approximately 16 sessions. However, this timeline is not fixed; some individuals may progress through treatment at a faster pace, while others may require more time to achieve their goals.
Treatment progress can sometimes be accelerated by increasing the frequency and duration of sessions. Intensive treatment involves attending sessions as often as seven days a week, with each session lasting two or more hours. This approach is available at Prime Therapy Services, offering an option for those who may benefit from a more concentrated treatment schedule.
Prime Therapy Services does not submit insurance claims directly to your insurance company on your behalf. Instead, we will provide you with detailed statements for all services rendered. These statements are designed to help you submit a claim to your insurance provider, allowing you to seek reimbursement for the therapy services you have received.
In addition to submitting claims yourself, you may have the opportunity to request an “in-network exception” or a “single case agreement” from your insurance provider. If your request for an exception or agreement is approved, your insurance company will reimburse you at in-network rates for services provided at Prime Therapy Services. This can help reduce your out-of-pocket expenses for therapy services.
